Client Brief

NRMA Parks and Resorts contacted SLD as they were considering solar lighting for several of their Tasmanian based sites. They aimed to illuminate pathways around the sites, increasing the safety of guests.

Assessment

Working with clients based in Tasmania offers some additional challenges compared to clients based in most of mainland Australia. The logistics of sending lighting columns to Tasmania becomes extremely expensive and uneconomical. Considering this, NRMA were happy to proceed with solar bollard lighting, as we were able to send large quantities of solar bollards on a single pallet, comparatively reducing the freight fee.

Outcome

We supplied 60 of our Orion Premium Solar Bollards across two orders, which were supplied and installed in two separate NRMA Parks and Resort sites.
