Allora Gardens Retirement Village

Client Brief

Our long-time client Keyton contacted SLD with the task of replacing the aged and occasionally faulty mains powered bollards with solar powered alternatives, much like our previous works at other Keyton sites. They had the overall aim for a lighting revitalisation at the Allora Gardens Retirement Village, as a multi-site project, with the Hibiscus Nambour Retirement Village.

Assessment

After discussions, site visitation, and consultations at the location to assess the installation considerations, we concluded that our Orion Premium White bollards were the best choice for the project. The site project involves a sizable amount of bollard replacements, totalling 198 bollards, which were replaced across the Allora site, with some locations requiring varying levels of overhead lighting to meet specific needs.

Outcome

Our NSW and Qld installation team worked together in addition to staying in close proximity of the site. We were able to install the custom programmed Orion Premium White bollards within 4 days. Our teams fixed the bollards to pavers, then set them onto a concrete footing.
