Client Brief

Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust contacted SLD as they wanted to implement a new traffic management plan in the Springvale Botanical Cemetery, with an aim to reduce speeds and minimise risk of accidents as they had been receiving reports of speeding in the area.

Assessment

After discussions with the client, we both agreed that our Solar Radar Speed Signs was the optimal choice to facilitate the expansive site with the new traffic management plan.

Outcome

The Solar Radar Speed Signs were mounted to white Relocatable Above Ground Footings – Steel and white powder coated posts. We were able to provide the Radar Speed Signs to the client within a timely manner. Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust were so pleased with the Solar Radar Speed Signs, they have contacted SLD again with the intention of ordering more.

Ethan and the team at SLD were extremely patient and helpful with my order of 7 large solar speed signs on 190kg [Steel] bases, being sent to Victoria for installation across my workplace, which is a public use space. Ethan answered many technical questions with ease, and assisted with troubleshooting, the shipping and delivery, assembly and changing the radar speed. Their accounts team adhered to my companies strict policies, and the project went live yesterday. Would recommend the company and products. Thank you Ethan, Scott and team.– Lisa Pettifer – Project Manager
