Wallington Park Equestrian Centre Sign Lighting

Client brief

Wallington Park Equestrian Centre approached SLD as they inquired about a solar lighting solution to illuminate their roadside signage. The centre chose solar lighting as an alternative because of the high cost of installing mains power lighting.

Assessment

The Wallington Park Equestrian Centre has slight tree coverage around the signs at the opening of the centre. Due to the shape and size of the sign, there wasn’t anywhere to adequately mount the solar panels.

Outcome

We supplied the site with SLD’s Venus Solar Floodlights to illuminate the signs, which the client was able to ground mount. The floodlights were protected with vandal resistant cages to greatly reduce the risk of theft. The floodlights were also equipped with separately mounted solar panels on custom posts, to ensure adequate sunlight.
